Previous Year's Photo's

I think this is the 10th year we put lights up on our house. Needless to say, it started off with just two packs of lights along the gutter and grew from there!

2005:

Due to increasing work commitments, I decided not to put up lights this year. :-(

2002:

Last year was the first time I'd started computer controlling the lights. I'd originally planned to build 64 channels, but I only ended up getting ~40 SSR channels working in time.

2001:

Since I started working full time at the beginning of the year, I had much more money to spend on lights this time round! :) Trying to manual get all these lights to stay in sync is what made me start thinking about computer controll.

2000:

I didn't have a digital camera back then, so these were taken with a normal 35mm camera. Noticeable difference in image quality!

1999:

Most noticable is that there's only one green spotlight. First time I'd started putting lights along the roofline.

1998:

These are the oldest photos I have scanned. The (what was small) palm tree in the second photo now requires a fully extended ladder so the lights can be put up!
